When the wealthiest among us keep accumulating and locking away more and more money, two things can happen:
1. If governments don’t print more money, the rest of us — especially the poor and growing populations — face a scarcity of money.
2. If governments print more money, it compensates for the hoarding, but this leads to inflation. Sure, there’s more money flowing, but its value decreases, meaning our purchasing power shrinks while prices go up.
So it doesn’t matter if you’re “creating jobs” if you’re making everyone poor or prices rise.
No matter which way you look at it, the system is rigged to make everyday people lose while the rich continue to hoard wealth. We either end up with less money or inflation.
The unchecked hoarding of wealth is suffocating the economy and everyone in it.
Time for a rethink!💡
