Only humble people are truly intelligent

If you’ve never questioned the biggest beliefs in your life, then you aren’t even living. It’s like playing a video game and refusing to level up. Even Mario knows you should give those mushrooms a try.

This goes for religion, philosophy, and politics too. Imagine if everyone focused on self-improvement instead of clinging to outdated beliefs – we’d all be like smartphones with constant updates instead of flip phones stuck in 2002. Sure, there’d be a few glitches, but at least we’d acknowledge them, fix, and improve.

And speaking of holding onto outdated ideas, some people act allergic to learning, breaking out in hives at the thought of being wrong. No wonder so many folks are awful – they HATE finding out they’re wrong! They’d rather take a selfie with their weiner in a wasp’s nest.

The more you learn, the more you realize how much you don’t know. It’s like knowing there’s a weiner in your mouth and you’re about to get a lot of DNA information. Even if you do it on purpose and know it’s gonna happen, if you do a good job they never stop cumming and there’s no way to swallow all of it.

Also, you aren’t “fact finding” or “doing the research” when you cite a book you agree with but never review anything offered in rebuttal. It’s like claiming to be a chef after only reading the dessert section of a cookbook.

Many people won’t embrace humility and learning because they’re scared. That’s why you have to prepare yourself with the lubrication called “It’s okay to be wrong.”

Truly intelligent people know the benefits of humility for self-improvement and success in life. Learning isn’t contagious, but it could make you less of a jerk.

So, who’s in for a little self-improvement? Think of it as a personality upgrade, version 2.0.

What outdated belief have you let go of recently?
