Tomorrow is National Insurance Fraud Day – the yearly happening in which millions of Americans stage accidents and injuries in hopes of becoming millionaires.
“It’s pretty straightforward,” one participant stated. “If enough of us do it, they can’t catch us all. Plus the odds of being paid out are much much higher than playing the lottery.”
In solidarity, those who profit from insurance fraud help to pay the medical bills, legal fees and bail money for those who take the fall. Money that goes to the convicted co-conspirators is transferred via elaborate money laundering schemes.
