Looking to change things up and be more accommodating this year, Southwest Airlines allowed workers to bring their pet snakes and reptiles to work today. Despite their heart being in the right place, the airline says they immediately regret the decision.
“Currently we have about 75 flights with over 200 snakes and reptiles on them,” Southwest CEO Gary Kelly stated. “We didn’t mandate cage use, so shit’s really gotten out of hand.”
The airline is asking that all passengers take a look in overhead storage and under their seats while boarding to avoid crushing the reptiles and assist in capturing the pets.
“Travelers can put their minds at ease as most of the animals aren’t poisonous or venomous,” Kelly concluded.
